The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Pruett of Rome. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Ensley of Chatsworth.
Reverend Jason Stockton of Rome performed the double-ring ceremony before an alter adorned with Boston ferns
and a unity sand table. The sand for the couple was placed on the table by the parents of the bride and groom as they entered the ceremony. Family pews were marked with grapevine balls filled with a white hydrangea and Sphagnum moss tied with burlap ribbons.
A program of Bluegrass wedding music was provided by Josh Perry of Rome. Selections included “Jesu, Joy of Man’s
Desiring,” “Cannon in D,” “From This Moment On,” and “Bridal March.” Soloist and guitarist, Josh Perry of Rome, sang “God Gave Me You” during the pouring of the unity sand and the couple exited the ceremony to “She Said Yes.”
The guest book was attended by Amanda Erwin and Carissa Sweatman, both of Rome. Wedding favors were distributed by Rachel Patrick of Atlanta and Kara Patrick of Rome.
Casandra Pruett of Rome, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Keri Ensley of Chatsworth, sister of the groom, Amy May of Colorado Springs, Diane Bruce of Cartersville, Georgette Blay of Duluth, and Kim Davis of Rome were the bridesmaids. They wore knee length, strapless dresses of melon luxe taffeta with a pleated bodice and flower ruffles accenting the hemline. They carried arm bouquets of white calla lilies and coral miniature roses wrapped with a burlap ribbon.
Khloe Davis and Mailey Davis of Rome were the flower girls. They wore white sundresses featuring an embroidered eyelet design along the hem. A teal ribbon sash was tied in a bow at the waist. The girls carried vintage pails filled with white rose petals.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, wore a strapless gown of white organza with
a sweetheart bodice that was fitted through the hips and finished into a full skirt with a chapel length train. The sweetheart neckline and the drop waist accentuated with delicate beading embroidery finished the look. The bride wore a fingertip length veil lined along the edges with tiny beads and pearls. She wore a pearl necklace, a previous gift from the groom, and diamond and teardrop pearl earrings given to her as a wedding gift from the groom. She carried a bouquet of white calla lilies, miniature coral roses, and baby’s breath wrapped in white satin ribbon.
Bobby Ensley of Chatsworth, father of the groom, was the best man. Chad Hodges of Orlando, Fla., Josh Morris of Lakeland, Fla., Josh Tanksley of Chatsworth, Justin Dean of Chatsworth and Matt Spear of Nashville, Tenn., were the groomsmen.
Peyton Godfrey of Chatsworth, cousin of the groom, was the ring bearer. He carried a khaki, linen pillow trimmed with pleated teal ribbon made by the grandmother of the bride.
The mother of the bride wore a knee length, cap sleeve dress of plum taffeta with a pintuck bodice and a beaded
embellishment at the mock peplum waist. The mother of the groom wore a formal sleeveless gown of teal satin featuring all over shutter pleating with a V-style neckline in the back. The mothers were presented with corsages of white miniature roses.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held onsite at Stone Creek Inn. The bride’s three-tier strawberry cake iced with butter crème. It featured a dot pattern along the layers with a monogram “E” on the middle layer for the newlywed’s new last name and was adorned with miniature coral roses, white Gerber daisies and baby’s breath. The groom’s cake was a red velvet cake with crème cheese icing displaying a Georgia theme.
The evening before the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner in Rockmart at The Pizza Farm.

Stephens, and Jane Wilbanks at Spring Place Baptist Church; a family bridal shower in Rome hosted by Ellen Burnes and Lynn Pruett; a family bridal shower in Chatsworth hosted by Joan Ensley, Keri Ensley and Jacqueline Gladden; a bridal shower hosted by coworker’s of the bride; a bridal shower hosted by Shannon Packard, Jennifer Beddingfield, and Jennie Holcombe at Gondalier’s Pizza; a bridal shower hosted by Jackie Mull, Robin Cater, Stacy Gore, Allison Martin and Loretta Barwick at LIFE Church; a lingerie shower hosted by Casandra Pruett, Georgette Blay and Diane Bruce and a bachelorette weekend hosted by Casandra Pruett, sister of the bride.
A bridal luncheon at La Marie’s was hosted by Betty Reed and Mary Armstrong, the bride’s grandmothers, and Resa Patrick, the bride’s aunt, in honor of the bride’s attendants on the day before the wedding. Refreshments for the bridal party on the day of the wedding were provided by Helene Fowler and Nancy Ware.
After an Exotic Western Caribbean cruise, the couple resides in Rome.
