Mr. and Mrs. R. Richard Sargent of Rome announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Katherine Sargent of Atlanta to Christopher Aaron Miller, also of Atlanta. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward David Miller Jr. of Niceville, Fla.

Miss Sargent is a 2001 graduate of Darlington School. She debuted with the Rome Symphony Orchestra in 2002. She is a 2012 graduate of the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of

Science degree in Communications and a minor in Sales and Marketing Communications. She is employed as a House Communications Specialist for the Georgia House of Representatives in Atlanta.

The bride-elect is the sister of William Jacob Sargent of Austin, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Ann Chambers Belcher of Rome, the late Robert Edwin Kerce and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Richard Sargent.

Miller is a 2000 graduate of Rocky Bayou Academy and a 2005 graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He is employed as an Account executive for Travel Click in Atlanta.

The groom-elect is the brother of Edward David Miller, III of Panama City Beach, Fla., Emily Marie Miller and Katherine Anne Miller, both of Niceville, Fla. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward David Miller of Bristol, Tenn., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herrick Minor Price.

A wedding ceremony is planned for October 20, 2012 in Rome. Invitations will be sent.
