Mr. and Mrs. Mike Littlejohn of Armuchee announce the engagement of their daughter, Jami Lea Littlejohn of Atlanta, to Scot Preston Poore of Buford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wade Poore of Douglasville.

Miss Littlejohn is a 1999 graduate of Armuchee High School and a 2003 graduate of Berry College with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. She is employed as a development assistant at Wyndham Hotel Group in Atlanta.

The bride-elect is the sister of B.J. Littlejohn. She is the granddaughter of Joy Littlejohn, the late Mr. Carlton “Buddy” Littlejohn, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Russell McMichael Sr.

Poore is a 2002 graduate of Douglas County High School and a 2009 graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 2002-2009 where he earned the rank of Sergeant. He is employed as an electrical engineer at Integrated Controls in Buford.

The groom-elect is the brother of Sean Poore and Stephanie Poore. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rayford Hunter, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Poore, and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Lovell.

The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Belle Terra in Rome on September 22, 2012. Invitations will be sent.
