Looks like the former Circuit City building in front of Mount Berry Square mall will be fully occupied soon.

Party City recently revealed plans to occupy some 12,853 square feet of the former electronics store while Dollar Tree is poised to take another 9,000 square feet

Dollar Tree, which has had a store in the Gala Plaza shopping center in West Rome for a number of years, completed the renovation of space in the Etowah Crossing shopping center on Hicks Drive in East Rome in the fall of 2011 and is ready to make a move to the north side of the community.

The Chesapeake, Virginia based retailer has enjoyed phenomenal growth, using its low price inventory to bring in dollar conscious buyers during the challenging economic conditions of the past five years.

The Rome-Floyd Building Inspection office is reviewing plans for the 9,000 square foot store.
