A man accused of shooting his wife to death last week was booked into the Floyd County Jail on Wednesday afternoon, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Michael Woodrow Terry, 61, of 1436 Livingston Road, shot his wife, Juanita Terry, 45, during a dispute at their home on Dec. 27.

Juanita Terry’s son saw Michael Terry “shoot his mother,” a warrant stated.

Michael Terry turned the gun on himself and was being treated for his wounds.

He is facing a charge of murder, first-degree cruelty to children and possession of a firearm or knife while trying to commit crimes.
