Another syringe has been found in an item that was purchased at the Cartersville Walmart, according a report from the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the report:

A Cartersville woman said her teenage daughter found “what appeared to be a broken top piece of a syringe with the needle intact” inside a pair of brown bedroom slippers purchased from the store on Dec. 19.

The teenager told deputies that she was not stuck with the needle and that she was fine.

The syringe was the 15th found in items purchased from or at the Cartersville Walmart.

Just two days ago a syringe was found in a bag by a family who had purchased several items at Walmart. The syringe was described by a deputy as being clear with a blue cap.
