The Braves looked to get their first win in their road series against Augusta, but their rally fell short.

The Braves posted three runs in the eighth and ninth to tie the game, 5-5, but the GreenJackets retaliated in the bottom of the 10th to come away with a 6-5 win.

The loss was the fourth straight for the Braves, and the second in the four-game series against the GreenJackets.

The Braves’ two runs in the eighth came on a two-run double by Chris Garcia, which scored David Rohm and Edward Salcedo.

In the ninth inning, Kyle Rose scored on a line drive to center field by Matt Lipka.

Rohm was 3-for-5 with a home run for the Braves, Lipka was 2-for-5 and Garcia was 2-for-3 with three RBIs.

Rome’s Jarrett Miller (0-1) pitched the 10th inning and was saddled with the loss.
