A Lindale woman jailed for allegedly assisting in the sale of a stolen Ford Mustang now faces an additional felony, reports stated.

Lacinda Michelle Easter­wood, 40, 210A Hooper Ave., is additionally charged with felony forgery after she allegedly used a debit card without the permission of the owner to make a purchase at the Walmart on Cartersville Highway.

She remained in jail on Friday evening.

A Lindale woman remained in jail Wednesday evening after police say she assisted in selling a stolen Ford Mustang in July 2009, according to reports.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Lacinda Michelle Easterwood, 40, 210A Hooper Ave., is charged with felony theft by taking, party to a crime after she orchestrated the sale of a Mustang stolen on July 26, 2009.

Police say Easterwood was aware that the vehicle had been stolen from Floyd County when she struck up a deal with an Atlanta buyer.

She was arrested Wednesday morning.

For one everyone is innocent until proven guilty and i NEVER said she was perfect! I have been to jail and was charged with ten felonies but you know what the POLiCE made a mistake and come to find out i WAS NOT GUILTY! So many many people can be accused of something and be innocent, people talk so much shit and thats all these charges are about is someone running their mouth. So if you dont know her then dont judge her, thats what is wrong with this entire world. people thinking their better than everyone. No she is not a saint and she has done wrong as well as everyone on the face of this earth! She isnt originally from lindale only lived her for a few years so no someones area has nothing to do with "going to jail" and yes they are obviously out to get her when they have to dig from a case TWO YEARS AGO? i think i know a little more about this entire situation than anyone who has commented on here so believe whatever you want there is always gunna be someone to talk shit!

She doesn't look skinny enough to be a "meth head", but that doesn't mean she didn't sale the crap. Too bad we can't see her teeth to see if she has "meth mouth". One more thing, just because she is from Lindale doesn't mean all people from Lindale are bad. This kind of evil can be next door to you no matter where you live.

If I had a dollar for every poster that comes on here and claims " they are a good person. they would give you the shirt off their back", I'd be RICH.

I think the word enabler comes to mind when I see ppl defending someone that has a been arrested. If you don't admit there is a problem, it will keep being a problem.

It just seems like every person arrested lately has some family member or best friend to come on here and comment what a saint they are.

That is exactly right she isnt technically an Easterwood and she would do anything to help anyone and everyone, and until you know her situation dont post negative comments! I know that the charges she is being accused of are NOT true but the Rome police are so crooked and they'll do anything to get her. No she isnt perfect but no one is, she has an awesome personality and a great heart and the only people she needs to believe her are her loved ones. With that being said it doesnt make a damn whats said on here she nor anyone who knows her will take that sorry comment to heart. Anybody that knows her personally knows that she is a good woman and no matter what she has been charged with will matter to the ones who love her. And i grant you no one will say a word to her face! And yes the Rome police should also get their stories straight and figure out who the real car theft is, and the credit card user. and trust me she has hard working people on the outside to help her through this!!!
