Cpl. Robbie Whitfield has been named 2010 Field Operations Employee of the Year. Cpl. Robbie Whitfield has been employed with the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office since 1996. Cpl. Whitfield is a very conscientious and dutiful employee who is very dedicated to his job and always comes to the top. Robbie has a take-charge attitude and is motivated to lead by example. Robbie is a polished officer in the field and stands out and surpasses what is expected of him. Robbie truly has a gift as well as a passion for law enforcement.
Dep. Christopher Parton has been named 2010 Jail Operations Employee of the Year. Dep. Christopher Parton has been employed with the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office since June 25, 2007. Dep. Parton is a very dedicated employee who demonstrates how much he loves his job through hard work and determination. His character exemplifies the uniqueness that is required by a law enforcement officer. Dep. Parton’s work ethics contribute in his role as a team player and aspires him progress to his fullest potential.
Sgt. Richard Argo has been named 2010 P.I.G. (PRIDE, INTEGRITY, GUTS). Sgt. Richard Argo exhibited pride, integrity, and guts throughout the 2010 year while performing the duties to his position. Every moral fiber of Sgt. Argo projects bravery and honor. With Sgt. Argo, not only do you find a supervisor or commanding officer, but also you find a reliable team member who you can always count on.
