Flagpole dedication for South Rome Boys and Girls club on Nov. 17

The Americanism Committee of the Exchange Club of Rome will dedicate a newly erected flagpole at the South Rome Boys and Girls Club on Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. Following the ceremony members of the Exchange Club of Rome's Americanism Committee will conduct a training program for all the boys and girls that includes flag history and flag etiquette.

The flagpole was formerly located at the now closed Anna K. Davie Elementary School.

It now takes a central and prominent position in the courtyard of the beautiful South Rome Boys and Girls Club.
