A Cave Spring woman is charged with selling custom wheels from a man’s vehicle without permission.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Kecha Lynnette Hood, 31, of 1 Padlock Mountain Road, was arrested by Rome police and charged with theft by deception and theft by conversion.

Warrants stated that in November 2009, a man left his 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo with Hood while he was incarcerated. Hood allegedly sold the car’s four custom wheels for $1,000 without permission.

Hood was released from jail Sunday on $2,700 bail.
