Arthur Milks, an escaped convict from Tennesse who was reported to be in the Gordon County area has been captured in Hamilton County, TN, according to Gordon County Sheriff's Office Chief Dep. Robert Paris.

More details surrounding the arrest are forthcoming.

The Tennessee escapee was last spotted in the Plainville area on Tuesday. The Gordon County Sheriff’s Office and other police officers conducted an extensive manhunt in the area of Plain-ville and Scottsville last night but did not find Milks.

Milks was serving a 22-year sentence on 31 convictions for burglary and weapons charges when he escaped from the Henderson County, Tennessee Jail on July 25, according to the GBI.
