Report: Thieves hit Grandpa’s Attic

Police responded to Grandpa’s Attic on Thursday morning after several items were discovered missing from a portable building behind the business, according to Rome police reports.

According to the report:

Someone cut the lock off of the building behind 510 Shorter Ave. sometime between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday.

Missing from the building was a 37-inch LG flat screen television valued at approximately $395, a replica of a dart gun valued at approximately $75, a Daisy BB gun valued at approximately $25, a DeWalt drill valued at approximately $85, a Craftsman drill valued at approximately $75, a Ridgid drill valued at approximately $100, a mitre saw valued at approximately $300, and a corner cupboard valued at approximately $150.

No suspects were listed at the time of the report.

That's so ironic! My dad has those exact same items sitting out here at his house. He's been a manager forever so his inventory is always accurate. I'll bet he'd rather be firing his gun at the sky than being bothered with problems.
