The university’s Gwaltney and Mallory residence halls were given a little TLC and fresh coats of paint in preparation for the arrival of students and the beginning of the fall semester. Each day began at 8:45 a.m. and was highlighted by a scripture-based devotional.
“Our faculty, staff and students worked diligently Wednesday and Thursday to help prepare the campus for the fall semester,” said Shorter President Don Dowless. “It was a joy watching the camaraderie and enthusiasm as our Shorter family honored the Lord and expressed love for our students through this form of servant leadership.”

Thanks Ms. Dowless for pitching in.
