Man arrested on theft warrant in alleged car theft

Rome Police took a West Rome man into custody on a felony warrant for theft by taking after he was alleged to have taken a luxury SUV from a Bent Creek Road address.

According to warrants from the Floyd County Jail:

Oscar Samuel Limon, 25, of 3012 Garden Lakes Blvd., remained at the Floyd County Jail without bail on the felony charge after his arrest around 1 a.m.

Limon was alleged in a warrant to have taken a 2005 Lexus GX47 SUV in sometime between July 19 and July 20.

The Lexus SUV was valued at $50,000.
