Joy R. McGee, RN, MSN, NP-C has joined The Breast Center at Floyd as the Clinical Nurse Leader.

As Clinical Nurse Leader, McGee will help patients understand their diagnosis, navigate through treatment and recovery, act as an information resource and provide emotional support for patients and their families.

Before coming to Floyd, McGee worked as an emergency room nurse at Palmyra Medical Center, Albany Ga. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

McGee earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Auburn University. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.

She and her husband live in Centre, AL.
