Free Cotton Block concerts begin Sunday at Bridgepoint Plaza

A new free concert comes to downtown Rome for the next four weeks beginning Sunday.

“Cotton Block Sundays” with Clayton Jones and Scott Warren will feature musicians from the Northwest Georgia.

The concerts will take place every Sunday at Bridgepoint Plaza for at least the next four weeks.

The concert is free and open to the public. Those attending are encouraged to bring their own seating and refreshments.

The event is sponsored by Blue Sky Outfitters, Stephens Music Company, 95.7 FM The Ridge, Jeffersons and Venuedog.

The concerts begin at 5 p.m. An open mic session begins at 4 pm.

To sign up for the open mic sessions, email cottonblocksundays@gmail.com no later than 2 p.m. on Sunday (just leave your name only in the subject line).

The lineup for this Sunday’s concert is, Shelby Smith, Ashley Hill, and Clayton Jones and Scott Warren.
