Cord ripped out in air conditioner theft

A Rome woman told police that after returning home, she found that her air conditioner had been taken from the window with the cord ripped out of the appliance, reports stated.

According to Rome police reports:

The owner told police that when she returned home Friday around 10:30 p.m., she found the air conditioner missing and the power cord still plugged into the wall outlet. Police put an estimate of $500 on the value of the air conditioner.

There were no suspects in the theft as of Saturday morning.
