Chiha Guild to offer art education grants to Floyd County art teachers

The Chiaha Guild of Arts and Crafts is pleased to announce the return of the Art Education Mini-Grant Program. The application is available for K-12 art teachers in public and private schools in Floyd County. Up to $2000 in grant money will be awarded for projects that improve and expand visual arts education opportunities for students in Floyd County.

Grant applications will be accepted now through Monday, September 24, 2012 and will be reviewed by Chiaha's Board of Directors. Awards will be presented at Chiaha Harvest Festival, October 27-28, 2012.
