The Rome Chapter of NARFE (National Association of Active and Retired Federal Civil Service Employees) will meet Thursday from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Landmark Restaurant onMartha Berry Highway. The local chapter is concentrating on their member recruiting and retention efforts. The monthly luncheon meeting is open to all active and retired Federal civil service employees in the northwest Georgia region who want to learn what NARFE stands for and the organization’s on-going fight for the right and benefits of current and retired federal civil service employees.
