Tickets are now available for the 3rd Annual Rome Beer Festival scheduled for Saturday, September 18.

Advance sale tickets are now available for $28, which includes sales tax and handling fee. Tickets the day of the festival will be $30, and designated driver tickets will be available at the gate with accompanying paid ticket holder for $10.

Admission includes live music, a 5 oz. commemorative plastic glass and available samples of over 40 beers.

This year’s activities kick off at 1 p.m. at Heritage Park. Participants must have a picture ID to enter and no refunds or exchanges will be granted. No person under 21 may enter. Festival proceeds benefit the Rome Area Council for the Arts.

Tickets may be purchased online, in person at The Forum Civic Center box office, 2 Government Plaza, or by phone at 706-291-5281.

This is a transparent attempt to corral hundreds of people into one place in order to arrest them for DUI. I wouldn't come within a mile of it, and not just because I don't dirnk beer.
