Petsen$se, a Scottsdale, Ariz., based pet store will be locating in the Gala Plaza Shopping Center in Rome soon.

The company will be occupying a suite between CiCi’s Pizza and the West Rome Post Office in the shopping center.

Petsen$e has two other locations in Georgia, both in Tanger Outlet Malls, one in Locust Grove off I-75 south of Atlanta and the other in Commerce, off I-85 north of Atlanta.

Construction crews were still grinding the floors at the West Rome store Friday and it is not clear when the company plans to open the Rome store.

Halloween City, a subsidiary of Livonia, Michigan based Games and Games will be opening a temporary store in the former Circuit City location, 2700 Martha Berry Highway, on Thursday, September 9.

The company stocks a full line of Halloween costumes for adults, children and even toddlers.

A sign on the doors of the store indicates that computer related problems have delayed the anticipated opening of the Rome location.
