Tea party holding candidate forum Monday

The Rome/Floyd Tea Party will host candidate forum and debate on Monday. The forum will feature run-off candidates for District 14 State Representative Coomer and Helton as well as candidates for Georgia Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens and Maria Sheffield.

The event will be held at In Focus Worship Center, 710 E. First St., and will begin at 6:30 p.m. The event is open to the public, but RSVPs are requested.

The debate will include questions from guest panelists, questions from the audience and opportunity for the candidates to give statements and discuss their positions.
