Rome police reported the theft of copper tubing from an air conditioner and two computers from the office of Etowah Landing Nursing Home.

According to Rome police reports:

Police were initially called out about the air conditioner, which was found completely turned over behind the building and the copper tubing cut out.

But then administrators found that a window next to the air conditioning unit had been raised and two computers – a Dell desktop and laptop computer with accessories – were taken as well.

Police reported the total amount of items taken or damaged was more than $3,000.

There were no suspects at the time of the report.
