The City of Cartersville is instituting a phone survey to gauge the flood damage received by businesses and homes from a July 18 storm.

According to a press release:

The City will be conducting a survey using the Connect CTY telephone system on Sunday evening.

The survey will ask if residents and businesses experienced flooding above the electrical outlets and damage exceeding $5,000.

For those that have received this level of damage, they will be asked to call the City offices at 770.387.5616 Monday and answer a few additional questions so the City can better determine where and how much damage was experienced.
